How do I book SiiM to speak at my event?

Start by submitting this inquiry form. You will receive an immediate confirmation and a link to book a discovery call. The discovery call is a 20–30 minute conversation to confirm the event details, discuss which talk or format is the right fit, and ensure we are genuinely aligned before either party commits. If everything aligns, you will receive a formal proposal followed by a speaker agreement.

What types of events does SiiM speak at?

SiiM speaks at corporate and leadership events, conferences and summits, universities and academic institutions, cultural and arts organisations, panel discussions, workshops and seminars, and media engagements including podcasts and interviews. Virtual engagements are also available. If your event type is not listed, submit an inquiry and we will discuss what is possible.

What topics does SiiM speak on?

SiiM's current talks include: Travel as Homework, Meet Your Inner Architect, Why Intent Matters More Than Talent, Learning to Let Go, and Knowing When to Exit. All five talks draw from Gallivant, from Event Architecture, and from 25 years of cross-disciplinary practice. How far in advance should I book?

For in-person engagements, particularly those requiring international travel, a minimum of three months' lead time is strongly recommended. For local and virtual engagements, shorter timelines are sometimes possible. Submit an inquiry with your event date and we will confirm availability promptly.

Does SiiM speak internationally?

Yes. SiiM is based in Jamaica and can be booked to speak internationally. International engagements require additional lead time for visa and logistics coordination, and travel and accommodation arrangements are confirmed as part of the formal booking process. Submit your inquiry with your event location and we will discuss the specifics.

Is a virtual keynote available?

Yes. Virtual keynotes, live-streamed sessions, and pre-recorded talks are all available formats. The discovery call will help determine which format is the best fit for your event and audience.

What is the speaking fee?

Speaking fees vary depending on the event format, location, audience size, and scope of the engagement. Fees are discussed and confirmed on the discovery call and formalised in the speaker agreement. Submit an inquiry to begin the conversation.

What is included in the speaking fee?

The speaker fee covers preparation, delivery, and standard post-event usage for internal purposes. Travel and accommodation, where required, are arranged and confirmed separately as part of the booking agreement. Recording and public distribution rights are addressed specifically in the speaker contract.

Can SiiM's talk be recorded or live-streamed?

Recording and live-streaming rights are addressed in the speaker agreement on a case-by-case basis. Internal recording for your organisation's own use is typically straightforward. Public distribution, live-streaming, and broadcast rights require specific arrangement and are confirmed before the contract is issued. Please note this in your inquiry.

What happens after I submit the inquiry form?

You will receive an immediate email confirmation with a link to book a discovery call. SiiM or her team reviews every inquiry personally and responds within 2–3 business days. The discovery call is the next step. From there, if the engagement is a fit, you will receive a formal proposal and speaker agreement.

I submitted an inquiry but have not heard back. What should I do?

Check your spam or promotions folder for the confirmation email. If you have not received anything within 24 hours of submitting the form, please reach out directly at [email protected] with your name and event details and we will follow up promptly.

GALLIVANT: A TRAVELOGUE

What is Gallivant about?

Gallivant is a memoir and cultural meditation about what happens when you move through the world with your eyes open. It follows SiiM across continents and encounters, tracing the way travel reshapes identity, perception, and belonging, and how moving through unfamiliar places forces a renegotiation of everything you thought you understood about yourself and other people. It is also the intellectual origin story of Event Architecture. BookLife / Publishers Weekly described it as 'a dazzlingly original mix of travel, trauma, humor, and healing.'

Where can I buy Gallivant?

Is Gallivant relevant to me if I am not a traveller?

Yes. Gallivant uses travel as a lens for examining how we pay attention, how we learn from unfamiliar situations, and how the experiences shaping us most, are often the ones we treat as background. Readers who have never been on a long journey have found it as resonant as those who have. The book is for anyone who has ever felt that their most important education happened somewhere other than a classroom.

What is the connection between Gallivant and Event Architecture?

Gallivant is the philosophical foundation from which Event Architecture emerged. The book documents the experience of moving through environments with full attention — and the realisation that the experiences shaping human behaviour are never truly accidental. Event Architecture formalises that realisation into a practical framework. Reading Gallivant is the recommended entry point for anyone encountering Event Architecture for the first time.

Can SiiM speak about Gallivant at a literary or author event?

Yes. Author talks, book club sessions, literary festival appearances, and media interviews about Gallivant are welcome. EVENT ARCHITECTURE

What is Event Architecture?

Event Architecture (EA) is a discipline that bridges spatial design, organisational behaviour, cultural strategy and narrative into a unified framework for the intentional design of human experience. It applies the principles of architectural thinking — systematic, outcome-oriented, structurally rigorous — to the experiences that shape how people think, work, and understand the world. EA was created by SiiM Clarke, B.Arch, and emerges from over 25 years of practice across architecture, film, brand environments, fashion, and cultural strategy.

Is Event Architecture about planning events?

No. The word 'event' in Event Architecture refers to any significant human experience — an offsite, a cultural programme, a brand activation, an organisational culture moment, or a life transition — not to events management or logistics. EA is a framework for designing the conditions that produce a specific human outcome. It is relevant to leaders, educators, brand strategists, designers and anyone responsible for creating experiences that need to mean something.

What is the EA Alignment Blindspot Executive Workshop?

The EA Alignment Blindspot Executive Workshop is an on-site half-day or full-day session for leadership teams. It introduces the Event Architecture framework and gives teams a reusable decision-making structure and shared language for designing organisational experiences — offsites, culture programmes, brand activations, town halls — with the intentionality of an architect rather than the logistics of an event planner. The workshop is available by inquiry and is customised to the organisation's current challenges and calendar.

Who is the EA Alignment Blindspot Executive Workshop designed for?

The workshop is designed for leadership teams, typically 6 to 20 participants at director level and above, in organisations that are investing significantly in experiences (internal events, culture programmes, brand activations, client events) and want to design them with greater intentionality and measurable outcomes. It is particularly relevant to organisations navigating change, building cross-functional/cross-disciplinary alignment, or designing experiences that need to land with precision.

Is there an online course available?

The Event Architecture online course is currently in development. It is designed for individual learners, creative professionals and teams who want access to the EA framework at their own pace. To be notified when it launches, join the early access list using the button on the home page.

How is the Executive Workshop different from the online course?

The Executive Workshop is an on-site, facilitated session for a leadership team. It is customised, interactive, and built around the organisation's specific context and challenges. The online course is a self-paced programme. Both teach the Event Architecture framework, but at different depths, in different formats, and for different purposes.

What information do you collect when I submit the inquiry form?

The inquiry form collects your name, email address, phone number (optional), organisation name, and details about your event or inquiry. This information is used to respond to your inquiry, schedule a discovery call, and manage the booking process. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Will I receive marketing emails if I submit an inquiry?

You will receive emails related to your inquiry and the booking process. Separate marketing communications are only sent with your explicit consent. You can opt out at any time by replying to any email with the word UNSUBSCRIBE or by contacting us at [email protected]

Do you send SMS messages?

We may send SMS messages as part of the inquiry and booking process if you have provided a phone number and consented to receive them. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Message and data rates may apply.

How is my data stored and protected?

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. We use GoHighLevel as our CRM and communications platform, which maintains its own data security standards. We retain your data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law.

Can I request that my data be deleted?

Yes. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at [email protected]

THE EVENT ARCHITECTURE COURSE

When will the Event Architecture course be available?

Who is the course designed for?

The course is designed for individual learners, creative professionals and teams. This course is for architects, event producers, brand managers, educators, hospitality directors and anyone who designs experiences as part of their work and wants a structured framework for doing it more intentionally. It is a self-paced programme that can be taken independently of any organisational context.

How is the course different from the Executive Workshop?

The online course is self-paced, designed for asynchronous learning, and can be taken from anywhere at any time. The Executive Workshop is an on-site facilitated session for a leadership team, customised to the organisation's specific context. Both teach the Event Architecture framework but serve different learners in different settings.

Will there be a cost for the course?

Yes, the course will be a paid programme. Pricing has not yet been announced. Early access list members will be notified of pricing before the general public.
